Foreclosure Sales

The Peoria County Sheriff's Office administers sales of Foreclosed properties on Mondays at 08:30 A.M. and Wednesdays at 1:00 P.M. in Courtroom 203 of the Peoria County Courthouse.  Please see the Foreclosure Calendar for scheduled Foreclosure sales.  If there are multiple sales for a particular date, the sales will start at the above mentioned times and will continue until all sales are completed.  (Disregard any times listed on the Foreclosure Calendar other than the times mentioned above).

Bidding on Properties

     If you intend to bid on a property you must have the following:

  • Identification
  • Certified funds (Cash or Cashier's Check) in the amount as defined by the publication (generally 10% or 25% of the total bid) at the time of placing the bid.  The remaining balance of the winning bid will be due no later than 1:00 P.M. the following day.
    • No Money Orders, Personal Checks, or lines of credit will be accepted
    • Certified Checks should be made out to the Peoria County Sheriff's Office
